Excellent service, food and ambience. We had the meal of the day with the octopus stew as the main dish as well as tuna. The food was very tasty, the wine was very good quality and the presentation too. Highly recommend it. Good price to quality ratio. Will come back when I am again in Hvar.
Had the set menu (about $50USD), food was some of the best I've had in Croatia. Well executed without being overly 'fancy', I'd say the meal was very much worth the money. This would be a guaranteed re-visit for me in Hvar.
Had a lovely dinner at Giaxa! The service was excellent, we had the lamb stew with gnocchi and the beef steak. The white wine our waiter recommended was own food the best we had too. Beautiful setting too!
