Lots of images of Reykjavik and photography books, a good place to spend afternoon for photography lovers. The exhibition theme is quite interesting and inspiring, a good chance to see Iceland from different angle. The image storage is divided into different theme, such as child, swimming pool, animal, etc. not only good for photography lovers but also who would love to take a look at people lived in Iceland in the past and who is interested in historical images of Reykjavik. Ticket price is fair enough for the accessibility of all the resources here I would say, and also a small gift shop for some post card and souvenir related to photography, highly recommended, you’ll never want to miss if you love photography or historical images.

A must-go for anyone who's interested in photography. I was so lucky to discover the work of Olaf Otto Becker there, which has become one of my favorite artists since. For the quality of the work shown here, the facility was a little underwhelming. I've seen smaller spaces that had a greater impact just by their better (though minimalist and inexpensive) interior design.

I have visited the museum on various occasions, both for show openings and to look at exhibitions. Their program is ambitious and always something cool on display. Fun visit both for those interested in photography or history.
