I’ve been coming to Tasu for years. I have to say the sushi is some of the best (and Bogo!!) you just have to purchase a drink. Chicken and pork gyoza is so delicious. I always get two rolls and either the house fried rice or the curry fried rice. You can’t go wrong with either. It’s a huge portion for two people, and always plenty left over for the next day. It’s hard ho find bogo sushi in the Raleigh area that’s good and this Tasu definitely delivers with the quality and presentation of sushi and all of there other dishes! Always would like to add our server was attentive and welcoming!

Decided to give them a try and we were very pleased. Our server O'Ryan was great and attentive. I had the Scorpion Bowl drink which was fabulous. We will definitely be back

So I happened to call in to Tasu yesterday to order 18 rolls for a family members birthday, and Mandy answered the phone, who was awesome since she went above and beyond to help me with my order. I went in and ordered 10 specialty rolls and had 8 more customized which they were happy to do with the types of fish, crab, vegetables, roe, sauces, etc. that I wanted. She was even kind enough to put all the sushi rolls on some nice disposable party platters and give me plenty of condiments and chopsticks for everyone. I ended up paying for the 10 rolls I ordered and she said once they figured out what other 8 rolls the chefs would make, I could come in and pay for the rest when I picked up the order. I went back in about an hour from the time I ordered, and they had just finished getting everything together for me to pick up... Food was awesome, Mandy and Raul! You guys need a raise!!! HOWEVER, when I went back in, she told me she ended up speaking to Sr. Management and they told her she should have charged me $5 dollars per plastic disposable take out plate, and that they could only do buy one get one free on up to 5 rolls (which would be 10 in total)?!?!?! She was also kind enough to let it slide under the radar since it's not what she and I originally discussed. THANK YOU, MANDY!!! What kind of person in management in their right mind let's people dine in or take out only up to 5 rolls when I probably paid for 1/5 of their total lunch sales today? What's the difference in getting buy 1, get one 1 free, and buying 20 and getting 20 free? The numbers are relative, so it's the same amount of money made...LMAO!!! I hate to say this because I rarely say negative things, but WHOEVER TOLD HER THAT IS A VILLAGE IDIOT! LOL 🤣🤣🤣. PLEASE COME BACK FROM THE STONE AGE AND USE YOUR BRAIN AGAIN! What if by telling me that (I live around the corner from you and come up all the time for sushi), I never returned to you since there are 20+ other places I can go to within 20 minutes and get as many BOGO roles as I want? Perhaps I should have gone to Akashi, Sushi-o, Ajisai, Sushi in the Park, Champa, Waraji, Koi, Kai Sushi, Orchid, Sushi Siam, Umami, Sushi Little Tokyo, Ko An, Susbi Mon, Sushi Nine Sushi One, Sushi Thai, Genji Sushi, Chai's Asian Bistro, Sake Bomb, Oiso Sushi, Hako Sushi, Vine Sushi, Sushi Love, Cowfish, Kurama, Sushi O, Yuri, Kashin, Masa Sushi, Sushi Blues, Hayashi, Wasabi Sushi, Chopsticks, O-Ku, Sono Sushi, City Market Sushi, Sushi Iwa, Mizu Sushi, Matsu, Asuka,Yamato, Akai Hana, and the list goes on and on and on... I'm sure if you don't want my money, everyone else would be happy to take it and accommodate me.. Would you really rather me take my $250 dollars somewhere else?!?!? I think if YOUR boss knew you told Mandy to tell me that, you would likely be reprimanded. FYI, I worked in the restaurant industry for close to 20 years as a waiter, bartender, line cook, classically trianed su chef, FOH, and Kitchen Manager and I would never tell a customer something like that, treat them like that, or make them feel like their money didn't matter me. People like me (your customers) are the reason why you are in business! Shame on the person who told Mandy to tell me that! I hope corporate or the company owners replace you for being so simple-minded.
