A hidden gem, well worth the 4 Euro entry, I wish there was mor English information, but the visit was still enjoyable. Be sure to sit in the bomb shelter simulator, it ads to the experience.

One of the best Military Museums I have ever visited. Tells the story of the Invasion of Sicily in WWII from the Allied point of view, the Axis point of view and the population of Sicily. It's a little hard to find and the Museum workers don't speak much English, but worth the effort!

This is one of the best WW2 museums I’ve every visited. It starts on the ground floor where you walk into a set of a Sicilian town in WW2 where you can look into houses and see what they would have looked like. Then you go into a bomb shelter and there is is mock air raid with sound effects and shaking. It is so realistic! On the upper floors there is loads of memorabilia from the war and an amazing display of photos by Rob Stein. It was brilliantly laid out and I felt quite emotional at times. Well worth visiting. Children would enjoy this too.
